Have you ever noticed, or been disturbed by the social inequality between men and women when it comes to being shirtless.

Why is it that a man can walk around his yard, down the street, or at an event and no one blinks when he doesn’t have a shirt on; however, if a woman does this all hell breaks loose and the cops are call. Hell, people even talk shit or have a hissy fit if a women doesn’t wear a bra.

Some people even go as far as confronting a woman who is breast feeding her child in public. FEEDING A CHILD.

Now some will read this and think something along the lines of “well yeah of course you don’t mind you are a man, and all men want to see a woman’s boobs”. In my case, I would tell you that is not really the case at all. I have seen hundreds of pairs of women’s boobs, in person, in my life, so seeing yours or anyone else’s isn’t a huge “score one for this ole boy” I just saw a pair of boobs yay me thought.

What I would love to see is a shift in mentality in our country where women can go topless if they so choose without being degraded for being a “slut” because she enjoys the act of freedom and living life the way she wants to.

While it doesn’t surprise me that here in America there are still people uptight. Hell, it took until 2009 for the U.S. to adopt an anti-hate law against the LGBT+ community, and the most recent bill in 2020 to tell employers they can’t discriminate and fire LGBT+ people. 2020 and we are still facing open discrimination against people. Kinda ridiculous in my humble opinion.

This is why I really like movements like #freethenipple or #gotoplessday to help support women’s equality. Other events like the World Naked Bike Ride events in bigger cities across the world also work to support the nudist community, or for at least a few hours, allows people to get out and ride naked and be free.

We, as a society across the globe, still have a long way to go in women’s equality…a LONG way to go. But one small step is to allow women to go topless if they so choose, and then shame those that talk shit, stare, take pictures or is just and overall asshole.

I would love to add a page of our women readers topless, or out in town braless that shows the world your beautiful self. If you have never done this or if you are a practicing home or social nudist I support you in your fight for equality. 

Lets fill the page with brave and courageous women that I say “f’k you” to the world.
