Nude with Friends

Nude with Friends

Have you ever noticed that it is easier to get a few (or more than a few) alcoholic drinks in you, and go skinny dipping in the ocean or in a pool or get naked in a hot tub with friends.

However, on the other hand when you are sober and someone says that you should join them at the beach or layout naked in the sun you say “oooo hell no I could never go naked”. Why is this?

Well, alcohol is the main factor to be honest. But when you have a few drinks to loosen up and strip down isn’t it interesting that no one is really gawking or staring at you? How fun is it when everyone is having a good time, laughing and jumping in the water without a care in the world, then you realize a short time later you are doing it naked…AND WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Self-Confidence and Boldness

Self-Confidence and Boldness

One of the most frequent statements I hear when I tell people that I am a nudist is “I don’t have the confidence” or “I could never do that I am not that bold”.

To be honest this usually comes from women that are bigger in stature and I feel they aren’t confident because they don’t fit what society deems as the normal, and appropriate size for women to be. It stems from a deep routed self-conscious image they have of themselves that has been there for decades.

This also comes from people that have been told from a young age that being naked is bad and leads to sex, or when you were naked it was for sex. You have been told to “cover up” and this has stuck with you.

Ryan, founder and blogger of everydaynudist.com and his wife enjoying the benefits of skin-on-skin contact

It is said that a person needs 8 hugs a day to help their overall health.

According to healthline, hugs:

1. Reduce stress by showing support

2. May help protect against illness

3. May boost heart health

4. Can make you happier

5. Help reduce fears

6. My help reduce pain

Genital Piercings and Jewelry

What do you think about genital piercings and jewelry at nudist resorts or functions?

I have been to resorts before that don’t allow it, or highly discourage it and other places where it is acceptable to wear.

I think that if you have a piercing wear it. Whether nipples or genital you should be able to wear it and if people see it, well they are checking out your nipples or genitals. Let’s be honest, as much as people say no one looks, that is bullshit. Everyone checks out people and yes looks at crotches, boobs and ass of all shapes and sizes.

My First Nudist Experience

My First Nudist Experience

So there I was (as all good stories start) on a long weekend in NJ with a buddy who made casual mention that they have a nude beach there. Being the good Indiana boy I didn’t believe him as with as tight asses American’s are there is no way in hell they would allow a nude beach here in the states.

So, in true curiosity factor I told him we should go. I mean it was labor day after all with the forecast to be in the 100’s.

So long story short we make the drive over, parking lot was full so we hit a bar close by for a few cold ones and some nice blasting A.C.

After a fewish beers, we decided to try to make a pass by and if the parking lot was open yet. This is on Sandy Hook so there is a ton of beaches and they stopped allowing people in at like 1030 because parking was full.

Social Nudity and Misguided Perception

Social Nudity and Misguided Perception

Throughout our life we have been conditioned to associate nudity with sex.

This comes from our personal experiences as for most people when they are naked around someone it leads to sex, or through the abundance of porn or sexual scenes in movies and T.V.

These scenes are also portrayed by actors, both men and women, that are “good looking”, and fit and follow the social culture of being skinny or tone.

This leads many people I have talked to over the years about nudism resort to an immediate response of “I could never do that”, “I am too fat”, “no one wants to see me naked”, “I don’t want to see guys walk around all the place with erections” and more. All of these responses couldn’t be further from the truth. Being naked is natural.
