Have you set your New Years resolution?

Do you even set a New Years resolution? For me, I quit setting them years ago. However, for this year, in lieu of a resolution, I am going to set a theme “wear less, live more”.

I have found that in my personal experience, the less I wear, the better I live.

Nudism has worked wonders for my mental health in calming my depression, anxiety, and hypervigilance. It is even more powerful when I am outside, or around other nudist.

It also increases my personal confidence level, even after 23 years of being a nudist. Check out this previous blog “Can Nudism make You Happier and Have Better Positive Body Image” here to read about this!

Nudism has also had a profound effect on my ability to care less of what people’s personal opinions are about me. We all like to say “no judgement”; however, we all judge in some form or fashion. The key to being on the judgement end, is not paying much credence to others personal opinions.  I will never please 100% of the people, 100% of the time; therefore, I don’t even try.

Whenever I get to spend time nude, whether alone or in the company of others, it really brings me back to living a more simple life. Nudism isn’t complex. The most complex part is getting over the personal fears, thoughts, and stigma that is often associated with nudity in general.

Believe it or not, for many (both men and women) nudism doesn’t come easy. It is a struggle to get past a lifetime worth of comments, belief systems, and a society that either says nudity is bad or that you must look a certain way/shape to be attractive. These items have delayed so many would be nudist from even trying it, only to find out later when they do that they missed out on years and years of good times. Ultimately, part of my nudist blog is to show in a positive light, the nudist and naturist community, and lifestyle in hopes to get those that want to try to…to actually try it!

So, as I close I would like to encourage you with two simple themes for the year:

  1. Wear Less Live More
  2. Give yourself more grace this year. The world is already a tough place, no need to add that to your personal life.

This year our goal is to get to some new nudist resorts in our general area (Pacific Northwest) so be on the lookout for us!

Drop a comment and let me know what your new years resolution is, or what your personal 2024 theme will be!

In your corner,

Ryan
