Stay Wild: How to Stop Living for Society and Start Living Authentically for Yourself

Living authentically can bring you great joy in life, but it takes works to get there.

So last month I took my daughter to get her first tattoo and we decided to get matching father/daughter tattoos.

She worked on it for quite a while and in the end we decided on what we wanted to get. However, a few days before I changed it a little bit to add the “Stay Wild”. I wanted her to have a reminder to always stay wild, not in a heathen, out of control way.

But to stay wild and embrace your true and authentic self rather than conforming to the societal pressures of people who want you to live a certain way because it makes them comfortable. Because it was the way they were raised to think, and that has to be the way it is supposed to be.

The Nudist Community

One thing I love about the nudist community is that it is full of people who choose to go against societal norms and live in a way that makes them happy, and brings them joy. I mean most people are raised with the thought of “don’t show off your body”; however, being a nudist is quite the opposite.

Also, nudist (home or social) put themselves in the most vulnerable spot they can be in…naked with nothing to hide any blemishes or “imperfections”. This type of vulnerability truly builds self confidence and self-esteem. When you can put yourself out there and say “here I am with nothing to hide and I am proud of my damn self and nothing you say or think will change that” will carry over to other areas of your life.

I have written a ton of blogs on body image, self-confidence, and overcoming fear and I think, to my core, that being nude is the number 1 way to change that. Hundreds will read this and say “well yeah but I am embarrassed by my body because of…”. Most people feel this way because it is what society says you should feel. This is evident because of what you see on tv and magazine covers. It is because of what insecure, small dick men say to bring you to their level of insecurity in life. To that I simply say “f’k em”. Check out my previous blog on Opinions and how to deal with them!

Here is a great article I found on how how authenticity can help transform you and worth a quick read…after this blog of course!

We are in 2026 and the world is changing and evolving and it is time you join us and start living authentically today!

Shelf you fears and insecurities and give it a shot. Start small at home, maybe hang out a little longer naked after a shower. Walk around your house naked and feel the freedom that being nude has to offer. I am not saying you should just jump in and go full social nudist, although that is the one way to show yourself how courageous you really are, but start where you are comfortable.

We ALL have fears and insecurities and imperfections in our bodies and minds…everyone. However, nudist push those to the side and go with anyway. They embrace the imperfections, vulnerabilities, and quiet judgements (yes, I say it is non-judgment but everyone judges people in their heads, nudist just don’t say it out loud), and live life on their terms.

There is something truly powerful about living life on your terms…so I invite you to open up and stay wild.

Who is joining me?
