You ever noticed that clothed people are sexualized more than just normal ole nude people.
It is the “what do you look like underneath those garments” thoughts that has people sexualizing and fantasizing about people.
Think about it in your own world. Have you ever pictured someone naked…sure you have. We all have.
However, the great thing about the nudist community is that you get to see it all. Well most of the time, not everyone gets nude. This takes the guess work out, and allows you to just enjoy the sensation of being nude.
I think this is part of the reason you see so many headlines about celebrities naked, or topless, and it makes for a click bate headline. Other than sexualizing both men and women (and making it so they get more clicks which makes more money), it is the thought of seeing someone naked that you have seen clothed for years.
I mean would you click on a Yahoo article that says, “Sally from Topeka Kansas topless at beach”. Probably not. However, Britany Spears topless will get a million views, and then a ton of sexualized comments that come with it.
So if you are thinking about trying social nudism but are afraid that you will be sexualized you can put that fear to rest.
Don’t me wrong, there are some people that will sexualize you in their minds..and before you start, both men and women do it (all the time), they just don’t say anything about it.
They don’t make a big deal or gawk at you. They go about their merry business.
Why? Because like you, more than likely you share a common theme: You are naked starting at each others naked bodies.
In person nudist are much different than a faceless, keyboard warrior. 100% different.
Problem solved!
So ladies and gentlemen, if you get sexual comments by people asking to see you nude just know it isn’t like that at resorts, or nudist functions (unless it is a back yard drunken get nude type event).
Almost every nudist I have ever met is a true admirer of the naked body no matter your age, size, color or sex.
We like to get naked and we like to see others naked and enjoying themselves.
So if you are ready to join us, but are hesitant because you don’t want to be sexualized…take a deep breath and give it a shot and just go be you (click the hyperlink for a previous blog on just that)!
In your corner,
Ryan
