Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
For many of you reading this, winter and that dreaded cold and dreary winter weather is upon us.
I wanted to bring back a few previous blogs I have written to help you through the winter blues. Ultimately, more commonly referred to as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). I did this because I know from personal experience that when the weather turns my fight with depression and anxiety only grows more intense.
Does this sound like you? Have you noticed a struggle with your mental health, mood, energy levels or lack of desire to do anything? IF it is, don’t worry there are literally millions of people affected by this every year.
If so, I would recommend you take a few moments out of your day to read my previous blogs “seasonal affective disorder” and “time to increase your vitamin d nudist Spokane”. These will either (a) remind yourself of SAD and the need for Vitamin D and/or (b) learn something which will hopefully spark a little more research on your part. Or take a look at Johns Hopkins Medicine article on Seasonal Affective Disorder to learn more.
There is nothing wrong with seasonal depression and anxiety. There is something wrong if you don’t seek help or do something about it.
Don’t spend the next 4 months in the dumps when you potentially can do something about it!!
In your corner,
Ryan
Note: I am not a Dr and not giving you medical advice. I am just a normal everyday nudist that suffers from both of these issues and know that we’re not alone. If you are feeling the signs of depression or increased anxiety (or any mental health concern) please reach out to your professional provider for help!
