My Nudist Birthday Reflection

Nudist birthday reflection.

On the eve of my 48th birthday I often like to take time to do a nudist birthday reflection on the previous year and look ahead to what I want to do in the coming year.

I was talking to Jess several weeks ago and I had mentioned that I don’t ever recall thinking to myself “man I am proud of myself”, because like most people, I just look for the next thing that has to be done, or, reflect back to all the failures and negative things I have done in life.

But this year is different, as I am going to be proud of myself and the things I have done.

While I won’t bore you with the details, I sat down and wrote out all my accomplishments this year and it was way more than I thought. And these were just things I did that mean things to me, where I made an impact on myself or others.

Etsy

Also, I started three new Etsy shops (feel free to visit them and if you like something I have made go ahead and purchase one, especially the digital downloads 😉) to spark my creativity.

I remained sober for another year, making it 8 straight years.

Blogs

While I didn’t write as many blogs as I wanted, this makes blog number 118 in 4 years. Doesn’t seem like a lot, but that is a ton of writing with more to come! To note: I am going to be doing a lot more blogs for my “Join the Family” fam, so make sure to invest the $3.75 a month to join us!

Never giving credit to yourself

While I often sit around and think, man I didn’t do shit this year (mostly the depression trying to manipulate me to feeling worthless so it can keep me in a chair), after I sit back in silence and reflect, I did do more than I thought, and damn it, I am proud of myself.

So, if you are like me and always looking at what is next, or “just doing my job” or when success hits you instantly look for the negatives…STOP. Be proud of yourself, and tell yourself “I am proud of myself and who I am”.

My birthday wish.

I would ask you to consider taking just 5 minutes out of your day TODAY, to sit back and write down the things you have accomplished, big and small. It can be as simple as I paid more complements this year than I ever have…and if you haven’t, but that on your list of things to do. I would bet that you have done more than you give yourself credit for.

And when you are done, tell yourself, outloud, that you are truly proud of yourself, that is the best nudist birthday gift you could ever give me.

You will see a difference in your attitude towards yourself.

In your corner,

Ryan

One difficulty with sharing my nudistry is that unwritten social rule. Sure, I could go around naked, but whenever I upset somebody else, I gotta put something on so they’ll be comfortable.

I can see that and I don’t go around making people uncomfortable with my nudity. I know my crowd and when I do it and don’t do it as I don’t like to be in situations where I am uncomfortable myself so I try to not force anything on anyone, if that makes sense.
