Happy Bisexual Day!
Today, 23 September, is National Bisexual Awareness Day so to all my fellow bisexual’s out there I would like to say I am proud of you for being you.
Bisexual’s are often one of the misfits in the LGBT+ community. We are often labeled as “confused” or “in a phase” and somehow we are diminished or people want us to “pick a team”. To those I say, I have picked a team and it is coed. I am in the longest phase of my life which is about 20 years and can say I am proud to be who I am today…a married, nudist, bisexual, father and veteran.
Don’t feel like you are alone: you are not
So to those struggling just understand you aren’t alone. There is nothing wrong with you no matter what some people in the world try to tell you. It isn’t a mental health issue, and God still loves you and you can have a personal relationship with him, even if the church says you aren’t welcome.
If you are curious I would encourage you to try it out. What is the worst case scenario, you don’t like it? What is the best case scenario, you like it? If being bi isn’t your thing that is great; however, don’t allow your homophobia to get in our way as we don’t bother you one bit!
You only die once, so live everyday on your terms and if that means liking the same sex, go for it! I support you.

In your corner,
Ryan
