Sun Meadow Family Nudist Resort

An honest trip review of our time at the resort.

Sun Meadow Family Nudist Resort

This past weekend (17-18 April, 2021) Jessica and I decided to enjoy the mid 70’s sunny weather, our destination Sun Meadow Family Nudist Resort. The resort is located in Worley, Idaho.

It was the perfect the day for our first nude outing of 2021!

After setting our reservation mid week, Saturday morning came and we were on the road for a quick 45 minute drive from our house just outside of Spokane Washington to just across the border in Idaho.

After getting to the gate we made the call and they opened it up and we began our journey down the road. At first we weren’t exactly sure where to go as you enter into a residential area with nice homes and no signs to where the office is. A short drive later we came to the end of the asphalt road and hit the dirt road and directly in front of us was the lodge/“hotel”.

We went inside and was met by Margie, one of the friendly owners who was super helpful and got us checked in, told a few jokes, and then gave us a quick tour of the large lodge. They call it a hotel, but I like to think of it as a lodge so that is what we will go with 😉

The Grounds.

The lodge a two story building which has a main area as soon as you walk in. This area contains a wood burning stove (which was nice as it was mid 30’s on Sun morning), a dance floor, little stage they use for bands. They also have a large retractable screen for movies, comfortable chairs and several dining tables.

From there she took us down the hall and showed us the rec room which had a T.V. with Dish, a ton of movies, and had a couch and few chairs. If you want to watch cable, it is the place to go.

We then went and checked out the indoor pool, sauna, showers, and bathrooms. The pool is a warm 93 deg. so it is perfect to get in and relax without the “holy sh*t it is f*cking cold” gasp. This came in handy when we did a early evening dip in the pool.

After that we were pointed to our rooms and went to drop off our bags.

The rooms are nothing special, they had a toilet and small shower and a sink in it. It had a king size bed and was all around a nice room. If memory serves me they only have 8 rooms in the lodge and 1 cabin. If you are staying over night and have a dog the cabin is for you; however, it doesn’t have a shower or bathroom you have to just head over to the main lodge.

Sun Meadows has a good number of camping sites, both with full hook up and tent camping so if that is your thing, get a spot!

After stripping down we decided we were going to hit the 2-3 miles of trails they have around the grounds. It was such an amazing view and peaceful. We got out before it got to hot and wandered around taking in nature at its finest.

Our visit was just before “the season” as they are coming out of winter in Idaho so the grounds were under cleanup. The resort has a nice sized outdoor pool that was in the process of being cleaned so it wasn’t available. However, it looks nice and has a great sized area around it with plenty of seating.

Each morning they offer a indoor pool workout, yoga, or a walking video to get you up and moving. Outdoors they have bouche ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and a paddleball court.

Last highlight was the option to eat lunch and dinner there. Margie served up a delicious serving up roast beef, potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and a nice piece of carrot cake. They also do a continental breakfast which is about the same that you would find at a standard hotel.

The People.

One of the most important things about having a good nudist resort visit is the people. The ones we met were nothing short of the amazing nudist we are used to meeting. Being our first visit their, word spread and we were greeted, if not in person from a distance of “welcome, glad you are here”.  Ask yourself, when was the last time you were at the pool at a regular hotel, and everyone waved and said hello? If you answer is never, you are right on track. We meet some wonderful people, shared some laughs, dinner, and just overall good conversations.

If you are looking for great place, with amazing views in a quiet location…Sun Meadow resort is for you. This is great for first time or long-time nudist. The owners are great, location is easy to get to, and the “regulars” are really friendly and accommodating.

I didn’t get any pictures indoors or of the facilities as there is normally a no-picture policy. However, you can check some out at their website below.

You can check them out on Facebook or on their website.

They do observe the Idaho safety regulations for COVID with requiring masks indoors and social distancing.

Are you ready to check out this nudist thing but don’t know where to start, check out his blog as I line it out for you!

I look forward to getting back there soon and if so I hope to see you there, naked wearing nothing but a huge smile.
