Kaniksu Ranch Family Nudist Resort Review [2022]{Updated}

Kankiksu Ranch Family Nudist Resort.

While I have done a previous blog review on Kaniksu Ranch Family Nudist Resort (which you can read here), Jess and I went last week for a day trip last week. We finally go to enjoy a warm Eastern Washington day.

Kaniksu which is a is a nonprofit, diverse family nudist resort providing a safe, wholesome, natural sanctuary, to enjoy social nudism is a pretty amazing place.

It is nestled deep in the woods where all you hear is the wind blowing through the trees and the occasional laugh and conversation.

Checking In

When we were there, we were greeted as always by amazing members and treated great by Christine, the front office manager. We have met her several times in our trips there and she always treats everyone with great respect.

Also, before we left there were a group of women in the front office and as expected, you would have thought you knew them all your life; however, we just met them.

Kaniksu was closed to visitors for the previous two years due to COVID, however, are back open now. There is plenty of space if you want to social distance, hell, you can take a stroll through many of the trails they have their (just check out with the office first so they know you are gone).

Changes since our last visit

A few changes from the last time we there. They have swapped out one of the salt water pools for a nice large hot tub. One that probably seats 15 people and placed in a beautiful deck to walk to.

Also, what I really enjoy is they have implemented a short version background check that is completed upon check in. If you want to become a member, there is a longer version. This is a great added layer of protection.

I would highly recommend making a trip there. Whether you can drive in for fly in, well worth your time.

While we were there, we met a cool gentlemen that drove in from 4 hours away to spend a long weekend there.

We love going there as we have always had a great time, the scenery is amazing, the people (both members and non-members) have always been kind and outgoing, and it is a easy destresser.

Lodging options

They have a lodge where you can rent a room for a really reasonable price, or camping spots for tent or RV camping.

Also, this year they are bringing back the Bare Buns Fun Run which they had to stop due to the pandemic. If you want to check it out, or register you can do so from their website here.

Free days

I just noticed on their Facebook page they are having an open house on 18 June, and again on 27 Aug.

This is a great time to go check it out for free, and if it is your first time trying social nudism, the premier time as you will meet a ton of friendly people.

If you don’t want to do a large group for your first time, try going during the week when it is a bit slower; however, either way I would highly recommend you try them out.

The only downfall and thing I can complain about is having to get dressed and leave!

So to all the members that we met last week, and Christine for her kindness checking us in, we say thank you and we, as a nudist community, are glad you are back open to non-members!

Updated visit on 09 July 2022

Jess and I went on day trip on 09 July for the International Skinny Dipping day and while we missed the 12:00 group dip, we did have an amazing time. We met several new people and as expected, never let us down.

The pool was a great temp, and hot tub was working!

A huge thank you to all the members, and non-members, for welcoming us and providing and atmosphere that is conducive to long time, and newly beginning nudist.

If you are in Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho (or need an amazing get away) make sure to put Kaniksu Ranch Family Nudist Resort on your travel list.

Also, don’t forget their Bare Buns Fun Run is coming up so register now and get out and join in on the fun!

Hope to catch you at Kaniksu Ranch Family Nudist Resort!
