How Being Nude Helps Increase My Imagination
Creativity
This blog isn’t necessarily designed to address just writing, or art, your creativity and imagination could be a come in a host of various areas of your life such as goal planning, visualization, mood enhancement, and more.
Heck who knows, maybe I can inspire you to use nudism to help create something that you have been wanting to do for years; however, you have just never “seen” yourself doing it.
Nudism is a powerful tool that literally costs you nothing. So powerful that did you know Lady Gaga has been recording her vocals in the nude?
Why would she do that you may ask…it is because she says it makes her sound better. But does it really make her sound better? Who really knows; however, if it increases her confidence and self-esteem, it probably does result in a more powerful voice.
But the real question is can being naked really increase your creativity? In my humble opinion, the answer is a resounding yes.
I say this not because I am a practicing nudist and just happen to have a nudist blog (so of course I would “have” to say that).
I say this because it is often my go to method to clear my mind, relax, and draw the inspiration to write, or create items I sell on Redbubble and Etsy.
How I get into the zone
Each individual is different when it comes to increasing their inner creative self.
For some it may be to mediate, or exercise prior to sitting down to create things.
Personally I usually have three go to things: nudity, music, nature.
Nudity
When I am nude, or in nothing but a robe, it increases my mood and helps to relieve some of my depression and anxiety symptoms, and life’s little stressors.
This shift in mood opens my ability to think more clearly than if I had a hundred little thoughts fighting for my attention. Therefore, by reducing these thoughts, and stressors, it opens my ability to be more creative. To see a clearer picture of my end product, and allow the thoughts to flow like water.
Also, removing the restriction of clothing while I sit in a chair helps me to feel better. When I feel better, I think better. When I think better, I create better. Living in daily chronic pain can really put a damper on anything creative; therefore, when I can relieve some of the discomfort, it goes a long way in improving my mental health.
Furthermore, being nude (even when alone) puts you in your most vulnerable state. Being in this state really opens who I am as a person, and allows me to be more honest with myself, and the product I am producing. I believe this makes my words more powerful and relatable to you, my friends and followers. Also, being vulnerable with myself allows me to live the life I want to live, and not a life that society tells me I should live.
With that said, the great thing about nudism in general is that it goes against societal norms. This act actually inspires me and boosts my personal confidence in that I am living life on my terms and not one that says “nudity is bad”.
Lastly, being nude is very sensual. Notice, sensual verses sexual. The combination of nakedness, vulnerability, and increased mood and decreased pain puts me in a state that is hard to really explain until you try it out. Now sure, being nude can increase sexuality and the freedom of expression and I won’t lie, there are times I take a mental health break to masturbate; however, that is an end result of not only being nude, but being relaxed and in a state that allows for it.
Music
Music is powerful. Not only can it increase your mood, it can help you to relax and concentrate when you are trying to create something.
For me, if I am writing or creating a product, I use jazz or classical music…something without words. If I have words, I don’t focus as much because I singing in a terrible tune; however, if I have something without words it provides just enough distraction from my thoughts, and focus on my actions.
What is your go to music to increase your creativity?
Nature
Recent studies have shown that being in nature is just as powerful as an anti-depressant. In fact, some therapist are actually prescribing nature over medication.
One thing I love to do it be outside. Even better if I can double down and be outside and naked.
While I am lucky to have found a property in rural America on a lake, it doesn’t have the privacy to walk around naked. However, I do have a nice back deck in which I go out in nothing but a robe on, open it, sit wide legged and enjoy the sounds of nature. If someone walks by on the road, I close my robe, and open it back up when they are gone.
Even if you can’t get naked in nature, I would recommend finding a local park where there is a lot of green grass, put on some music, and allow the thoughts to flow. You will be amazed at just how much creativity you have inside you.
Closing
For many of you, nudism isn’t something new; however, for a lot of you reading this blog, it is a newer concept.
I would encourage you to use it to your advantage.
Exercise Time
Here is an exercise I would like for you to try out.
I want you put yourself in a safe environment where you can fully relax. Then strip down to nothing and put on some mediation music, lay back, close your eyes and slow your beathing down.
Then I want you to introduce to yourself a thought on something you have wanted to do, or are currently working on (outside of work, don’t ruin a good moment with work). Allow the thoughts to flow and consciously stop yourself from saying things like “that won’t work”, “can’t do it”, “to hard”. Tell your mind to shut up and allow them to flow and get excited about what you are visualizing.
If this is your first time, the majority of you will fight off the negative thoughts one after another. Don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with you…it is just how you have been and now you are paying attention to it.
Keep doing this, repeatedly over several weeks (or longer). I will bet that for most of you the thoughts will begin to shift to positive ones and will flow like they haven’t done before. Use this to your advantage and get out there and start increasing your creativity in whatever it is you are wanting to do.

Naked. Music. Nature.
